The DN-200-RN is a 4 channel telemetry unit with a radio module plugged in. Radio modules are available as 0.25 watt or 1 watt, depending on the transmission distances required. Each radio site within a network operates as a repeater within a self-healing meshed network. Radios will automatically transmit either directly to the gateway or via other field radio sites. This means that direct line of site from each field radio to the gateway is not required. Transmission distances will vary depending on terrain, tree coverage, antenna type and antenna height. Generally 0.25 Watt radios have a line of site transmission range of 4 -5 km and 1 watt radios 10km line of site.

The DN200 units can be configured as either radio units, standalone units with 4G modem modules, satellite or can connect to a WiFi LAN with a WiFi module. The 4 channels can be configured for monitoring, control or a combination of both. There is a wide range of plugin modules to suite many sensors, as well as control/relay modules for applications such as pump control (electric or diesel), motor control for surface irrigation automation and solenoid control. The DN200 is an extremely flexible unit for applications where up to 4 inputs or outputs are required. Adding or changing modules and applications is very economical and quick, with remote access for configuring and upgrading.
